Development

Strategic Planning

While our school is still young, we’ve made developing it a priority, being purposeful with our time and resources. This year we developed the first section of our Strategic Plan including our Vision, Mission and Values with a core team of faculty, board of trustees and highly committed parents. Our Vision is what inspires us and provides us all with a common picture of our future. The Vision is brought to life through our Mission. Our Values guide us in the choices we make everyday. In the coming year, we aspire to complete our Strategic Plan adding our Initiatives, Objectives and Action Steps.

Educational Development

From the inception of the school, we’ve made hiring and retaining highly skilled teachers our top priority. Due to this choice we’ve made sacrifices elsewhere; however we believe that the teachers are our foundation, the roots of our school and investing in them is a prudent choice which supports long term growth.

Site Development

We began our first Kindergarten in our current location, sharing space with a local, unaffiliated church. We transformed this space into a lovely play garden outside and warm and inspiring classrooms on the inside. This will serve our needs for the immediate future; however we are actively seeking a much larger space to grow into that will accommodate the needs of a full eight grade school.

Parent Involvement

Our school exists in it’s present state largely because of committed, active parents. Parents and families that are actively involved in the school are essential to developing and sustaining our school. Together we are partners in our future, both growing, creating community, and setting a positive example for our children.

Community Funding

This year we’ve developed a Sponsorship Package for individuals and business that are interested in supporting our school. Sponsorship Package funds will be used for faculty development, tuition assistance, and future site development.
