THE SARASOTA WALDORF SCHOOL in Sarasota, Florida, offers teaching positions for the 2008-2009 school year in the KINDERGARTEN, FIRST GRADE and the THIRD GRADE.

Experienced Waldorf Class teachers and Early Childhood teachers are preferred. We will consider new graduates of Waldorf Teacher Training programs who have significant applicable life experience and/or exceptional talent in one or more curriculum-related arts. The applicant’s flexibility will influence our employment decisions.

Now in our ninth year, our “supporting community” includes two graduate Waldorf Remedial Education teachers, a curative eurythmist, two “retired” class teachers, several Waldorf school graduates and an active parents-and-friends group experienced in preparing the festival celebrations and creating imaginative, elaborate, and successful fund-raising events.

Sarasota is a cosmopolitan city rich in the arts. Located on the balmy and beautiful shores of the Gulf of Mexico, it is a lovely place to establish a home and career or to relocate in anticipation of retiring eight years hence.
