Tuition Assistance

Sarasota Waldorf School is supported by tuition, fundraising, and by gifts to the Annual Giving from alumni, parents, faculty, and friends of the school. We work through our tuition assistance program to make Sarasota Waldorf School accessible to students from diverse economic backgrounds.

Tuition Discount
Sarasota Waldorf School provides a tuition discount for multiple enrolled children from the same family.  A 15% discount will be applied to the tuition of each younger sibling(s).  Discount applies to younger sibling(s) enrolled in Kindergarten or Grades classes; discount not available for Nursery.

Tuition Assistance
Sarasota Waldorf School provides tuition assistance for students in Kindergarten through all Grades to families with demonstrated financial need.  The Board of Trustees annually sets the total amount available for tuition assistance.  The School endeavors to assist as many families as possible; however, it is not always possible to accommodate every family's unique circumstances. The School asks parents and guardians to pursue all other sources for help with tuition payments as well.

Tuition Assistance applications are confidential, reviewed by Tuition Assistance Committee members, and are managed by firm deadlines.  The Committee informs the families of its decision and any award is reflected in an updated enrollment contract.  Applications for assistance will be available in the school office and via the links below.  Please see the
Tuition Assistance Guidelines for complete details about the process.  You may also contact Lisa Bull, Board of Trustees Treasurer, (941) 320-7113 with any questions.

The Sarasota Waldorf School accepts the Mackay Scholarship and Florida PRIDE Scholarships, financed through the Florida Department of Education. Please contact the Florida Department of Independent Education and Parental Choice (800) 447 – 1636 or www.opportunityschools.org or www.floridapride.org.
